War Story: Holy War

War Story: Holy War
(A front line trench.)

C.O.: I need you to pray for victory.

Chaplain: I'm not sure that God would take sides with us in this war.

C.O.: Just do it.

(The chaplain complies, falling to his knees and whispering with his eyes closed.)

Sentry: Sir, the enemy is crossing no-man's-land. Are we just gong to sit here?

C.O.: Just wait.

(The enemy troops advance in a line. They appear to be unstoppable when a white cloud forms over their head and drives them back with thunderbolts.)

C.O.: Good work, Chaplain! All right, men. Charge! (He blows a whistle and the men head out onto the battlefield. They make it halfway when a black cloud forms over their head and drives them back with thunderbolts.)

Private: Looks like the enemy has a chaplain, too, sir.

C.O.: I can see that. I guess we're going to have to let the big guys duke this one out. Chaplain... (The chaplain says another prayer and a white cloud forms to confront the black cloud. The clouds hurl thunderbolts, which appear to only pass through each other without causing damage. Then it starts raining frogs.) Hm. This may take a while. Anyone up for a game of Yahtzee?
